How do I schedule a Pick-up?

You can either Contact Us or fill in our Schedule A Pick-up Online Form here.

Do you charge for pickup?

For Business customers, there is no charge for a pick up. Click here to schedule for a pick up.
For Residential customers, we have a charge of $25 pick-up fee.

Is there a charge to use your company?

Computers, laptops, tablets, iphones and all-in-one’s are free to recycle. Everything else is $.20 per pound (HDD destruction – $5.00 per drive).

How soon can you get to our location to pick up our devices?

Depending on locations, in most cases, we can schedule you for a pick up within the next 1-14 days. If we have trucks in the area we are able to pick up the same day. Click here to schedule for a pick up.

Can we request a Gaylord to leave on-site to collect e-waste?

Absolutely! We will provide you with a Gaylord and come pick it up whenever it is full. Click here to schedule for a Gaylord drop off.

What items do you recycle?

We recycle all old electronics and computer equipment. “If it plugs in, we will take it!” For a complete list of items we accept and do not accept click here.

What type of data destruction do you provide?

We provide Data shredding, Data crushing, on-site data crushing, Data Sanitizing with compliance to Department of Defense and National Institute of Standards and Technology. Visit our Data Destruction Page for more information on our Data Destruction services.

Is there a charge for data destruction?

We only charge for on-site destruction. There will be no charge for Data sanitation.

How do you secure my device that contains a lot of sensitive data?

From the point of pick up to the data destruction process, we have multiple security measures to ensure that your data containing device is securely processed and no leaks. We have GPS tracking devices to track our trucks location. We also have 24-7 security surveillance video around and in warehouse and a controlled access facility.

Do you provide any documentation to proof that you have successfully wiped or destroy the data?

Yes, we provide Certificate of Destruction to certify that we are responsible for properly erasing all data containing device and release you of all liability.

What type of documentation can you provide?

All of our customers will receive a Certificate of e-waste Recycling, thus releasing all liability to us. In addition, upon request, we will provide you with a Certificate of e-waste destruction, releasing you of any liability and placing full responsibility on American Recycling.

Are there any fees to drop my electronics off at your facility?

Our office hours are as follow:
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Saturday 10:30am – 5pm
